Famous Urban and Rural Structures!

Urban Structures...

I like the Eiffel tower because its very unique and its the symbol of France. Erected in 1889 as the entrance arch to the 1889 World's Fair, it has become both a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower is the tallest structure in Paris and the most-visited paid monument in the world; 7.1 million people ascended it in 2011. The third level observatory's upper platform is at 279.11 m the highest accessible to public in the European Union and the highest in Europe as long as the platform of the Ostankino Tower, at 360 m, remains closed as a result of the fire of August 2000. The tower received its 250 millionth visitor in 2010.

I like the Big Ben because its part of England and a very important part of London. Its officially named the Elizabeth Tower, as well. The Elizabeth Tower holds the largest four-faced chiming clock in the world and is the third-tallest free-standing clock tower. It celebrated its 150th anniversary on 31 May 2009, during which celebratory events took place. The tower was completed in 1858.

Rural Structures...

I like the Angel Falls because its the highest waterfall in the world. The waterfall drops over the edge of the Auyantepui mountain in the Canaima National Park in the Gran Sabana region of BolĂvar State. The height figure 979 m (3,212 ft) mostly consists of the main plunge but also includes about 400 m (0.25 mi) of sloped cascades and rapids below the drop and a 30-metre (98 ft) high plunge downstream of the talus rapids.
